Insurance Plans
Lions Heart Counseling has insurance agreements and provides direct billing to:
Straight Medicare, MHN, Health Net, Optum and United Health Care.
(Please Note we do not work with United Health Medicare Advantage, Medi CAL or EAP or employee Assistance Plans)
Lions Heart Counseling can provide direct or third party billing to your insurance company. Often, we can check your counseling and outpatient mental health benefits, through your insurers web portal. Please, be aware that session fees are your responsibility and sometimes insurance companies require prior authorization and have complex billing arrangements. As always your most accurate information should come directly thru your insurance company.
Fees
$195 60 Minute Psychotherapy (Patient &/or Family)
$150 45 Minute Psychotherapy (Patient &/or Family)
$105 30 Minute Psychotherapy (Patient &/or Family)
$95. 90 Minute Mens Group every 4 weeks Saturdays 10:30 to Noon
$40 Print and Mail clinical Records – additional charges may apply. To request records send requests to our mailing address and include the clients full contact information, approximate dates of service and their authorization and a check payable to Lions Heart Counseling. All records requests will be verified with the client or require a court subpoena.
Discounts from standard rates
* $15 Discount for Healing Professionals which includes Teachers, Doctors, Nurses, medical assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Body Healers, physical therapists, Social Workers, Marriage and family therapists and counselors.
$15 discount for those who are financially struggling
