How Can We Help
At Lions Heart Counseling we embrace leading edge evidenced based tools to help you work through issues of depression, anxiety, and trauma. These tools have been proven to help improve your symptoms and often to move past these afflictions.
We believe that safety, satisfaction and connection are human needs that all of us strive for. However, early childhood trauma, poor role models and aversive experiences often rob us of the ability to choose the right people and experiences to connect with. Fear then often leads us to be reactive and sabotage those experiences.
With a good connection to your therapist you can develop trust and safety while learning to grow and make changes. At Lions Heart we believe in small sustainable change that honors you and your process. Accepting you right where you are is critical to establishing safety and encouraging motivation and feelings of value.

At Lions Heart we have a variety of evidenced based leading edge tools that really work to help with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma and Relationship problems.
Think of using these tools like coming to the gym. In our gym, you get instruction and guidance, an opportunity to practice and develop success and confidence. We truly believe that change is possible even late in life. While this work is not easy it is extremely self-empowering and transformative!
